Spanish Templars sue the pope

Three years ago, a group of Spanish Templars set about suing Pope Benedict claiming that the act of his predecessor Pope Clement in suppressing the order seven hundred years ago had been illegal.  Incredibly, this case got a hearing in a Madrid court but I’m not sure what happened next.  Anybody can shed light on this mystery – the story was first reported in Russia Today then taken up by Catholic News.
